- Genesis is not a listing service. We do not accept deals that are unlikely to sell simply to charge the business owner a large upfront “listing” fee. We engage between 12 and 15 companies each year. We carefully select client companies that have a high probability of selling based on current M&A trends and conditions.
- Every member of the Genesis team is actively involved in every deal we accept. Our clients are not assigned a “broker” from a pool of available manpower. Every member of our team contributes his or her expertise to the process to bring about the desired result for the client.
- Every client’s business is confidentially but aggressively marketed to strategic and industry acquirers, private equity groups, investors and high net worth individuals seeking acquisitions. Simply listing a company for sale and posting ads on M&A web-sites doesn’t get it sold. We invest significant financial and personnel resources in the active marketing and promotion of every business we represent.
- Our focus on representing clients within the southeastern United States means that we understand the business environment, values and culture unique to the region. It also means that Genesis teams members can be on-site with very short notice to meet with potential buyers, assist in the collection of data, or address any other need that may arise. While our geographic focus remains on selling businesses located in the southeastern United States, we have contacts with capable and qualified buyers throughout the United States and various countries in Europe and Asia
